The Clear Creek Village Soundwall Project, is a TxDOT-led sound mitigation project associated with improvements along the I-45 corridor. The City of League City is participating in the project to support soundwall construction outside of TxDOT right-of-way through coordination of utility relocations and acquisition of easements.

The project remains in the design coordination and utility relocation phase, with ongoing coordination between the City, TxDOT, and utility providers.

What's next?

Project Update: October 2026

• TNMP mobilized and began erecting the new utility poles on August 19, 2026. Currently, TNMP is coordinating with its subcontractor to complete the required power redistribution and line switching. City staff is awaiting confirmation of the scheduled power line switch, which will require a temporary outage for affected residents and customers.
