FM 2094 12" (Davis to Signature Point)

This project will install a waterline that connects the Davis Road system to Signature Point. This will provide redundant water supply and assist with minimizing service disruptions to customers.

Beacon Harbor Island 12"

This project will provide redundant service for Beacon Island via a waterline crossing from Harbor Island, meaning these areas will handle service disruptions with less impacts to customers. The installation will require waterline easements and will be installed by boring the waterline from Beacon Circle to Enterprise Ave.

24" WL Relocation

This project relocates a segment of 24” waterline that is being encroached upon by erosion of a nearby pond.

Current Status: **DELAYED** Redesign required due to permitting requirements and easement partnerships.


West Walker 8' Backfeed

This project will provide redundant service to the area South of the intersection of FM518 and SH3. Currently any water outages directly impact customers. This project would eliminate any impact on residents by having alternate water routes.

Budget: $350,000

FM 518: SH3- FM 270

The waterline along FM518 has been systematically replaced and upgraded in size to provide water needs for the area. To date, this has occurred from Palomino all the way to SH3. This project will continue that effort and upgrade approximately 1.5 miles of waterline from the intersection at SH3 all the way to FM270.

Meadow Bend/Walker Street/3rd Street Well & BPS

League City is upgrading three of our oldest water plants to replace the plants’ Motor Control Center with a new control panel. This project will install new transformers and panelboards at all three plants and improve liquid ammonia sulfate system at the Meadowbend Water Plant as well as updating outdoor lighting for Meadowbend and 3rd Street Water Plants.

Calder South

This project provides additional water supply to the City's water distribution system and a redundant water source to the Bay Colony development and the south-central areas of the City, enhancing the availability of water supply during peak demand periods.

The site for this plant is a 2.118-acre tract of land, located on Calder Road with direct access to the 39" Gulf Coast Water Authority water transmission lines.

SH3 Tank Interior Recoating

This project is primarily an interior recoating project that includes some exterior blasting and touchup of welds in various areas and replacement of the roof, rafters, and vents.

Brittany Bay and South Shore Harbor Chem Feed

This project consists of chemical feed additions at each plant to include tanks, piping, pumps, meters, electrical hardware, and instrumentation.

The City of League City is expanding the Southwest Water Reclamation Facility. Currently, it can handle 4.0 million gallons of water each day, and the goal is to increase that to 6.0 million gallons per day.

UV Replacement PER-Dallas Salmon WWTP

The project is evaluating and developing preliminary engineering design for the replacement of the ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system at the Dallas Salmon Wastewater Treatment Plant. The existing system requires assessment of replacement alternatives, hydraulic improvements, and compliance with updated regulatory and floodplain requirements. This effort will support future upgrades to improve reliability, maintain treatment performance, and accommodate potential capacity increases.

Current Phase: The condition assessment was completed in January 2026, and the project is progressing as planned with design anticipated to begin in Fiscal Year 2028

Wet Well-Dallas Salmon WWTP

This project is a condition assessment, design, and rehabilitation of the influent wet well at the Dallas Salmon Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Improvements include:

  • structural and mechanical upgrades
  • rehabilitation of the wet well, junction box
  • replacement of deteriorated piping systems

Current Phase: Plans were approved by the City in April 2025. Due to funding the project’s construction phaseis currently on hold until August 2026.

Landing Lift Station:

The Landing Lift Station Improvements Project is a rehabilitation and upgrade of the existing wastewater lift station to improve reliability, safety, and operational performance. Work includes:

  • replacement of outdated infrastructure
  • upgrades to mechanical and electrical systems
  • site improvements to enhance accessibility
  • maintenance operations.

Constellation Lift Station:

This project converts the above ground pump station to a submersible pump station for improved reliability and safety. It consists of:

  • conversion of the existing self-priming pump configuration to a standard submersible lift station configuration,
  • new pumps and piping,
  • new controls and electrical,
  • structural modifications,
  • new hatches and safety gear,
  • new discharge piping and valves, coating of the existing wet well, and by-passing.

Harbor Park Lift Station:

This project will:

  • increase the firm pumping capacity of the lift station from 1.6 MGD to 3.0 MGD
  • provide emergency power and an odor control unit
  • remove and replace 45 feet of 18” gravity sewer with 21” line in front of the station.

East Main Lift Station:

Status: Completed

The East Main Lift Station is part of the City’s on-going Annual Lift Station Improvements Program in which aging stations are rehabilitated to improve capacity, operation and reliability. This project converts the existing dry/wet pit configuration to a standard submersible lift station configuration to provide more reliable service during tropical weather events.

Manhole Rehab:

This project rehabilitates approximately 40 manholes in various locations across the City to include: rehabilitation with corrosion resistant wall liner, replacement of ring and cover, rehabilitation of manhole risers, or complete replacement of manholes if manhole is structurally unsound.

18' Reroute:

Currently, the 18-inch force main extends from Bay Colony MUD 14-15 lift station to 36” gravity sewer line near Ervin Road which then flows north to the Dallas Salmon Wastewater Treatment Plant. This diversion will include approximately 9,000 feet of new 18-inch force main, control valves and a large gravity sewer line.

Project will also include pumps and control upgrades at the Bay Colony MUD 14-15 lift station to convey the flow to new location.

David Road 15" Gravity Sewer:

The Davis Road 15-inch Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project replaces approximately 515 linear feet of aging gravity sanitary sewer infrastructure along Davis Road, extending from Crows Nest to an existing lift station. The project is part of the City’s ongoing sanitary sewer rehabilitation program aimed at improving system reliability and reducing the risk of failures.

  • pipe bursting and open-cut installation
  • manhole improvements
  • bypass pumping
  • traffic control
  • surface restoration
