Clear Creek runs along the northern border of League City, and provides recreational opportunities including fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and more. League City is currently working on a capital improvement project to determine how the nature-centered resource can be further utilized to provide recreational opportunities in the coming years. The goal is to have a community developed Clear Creek Master Plan to add to the City’s Parks, Trails, and Open Space Master Plan.

The city is working with a consultant—Halff Associates Incorporated—to seek citizen input and feedback regarding public access, connectivity, recreational and programming opportunities, and environmental and natural resource preservation along the creek. This input will inform proposed recommendations, preliminary design ideas, and a final master plan.
